Planning Sessions
We often hear from people that they’re waiting until they have all the details figured out before booking their session. With Artisan Portrait, this is a team effort to create the portraits you’ve always imagined!
By inviting you into the Artisan Portrait studio for a 20-30 minute portrait planning session, we’ll listen to you share more about what’s important to you about your current chapter, who you expect to be in the portraits with you, locations that are special to you, get ideas for what we’re designing for your home, and go over ball park figures for your artwork.
There is no charge or obligation for this first step. We have found it to be a valuable appointment to create a world-class experience for our portrait clients. We will share expert tips and recommendations on portrait locations, the best times of day, outfit ideas and suggestions, and what to expect. This time is our opportunity to ensure all the details are perfect for your upcoming portrait.

KIBBEE WALTON
Artisan Portrait has served thousands of families in the Post Falls, Spokane, and Coeur d’Alene areas since 2006. After a decade working under the guidance and mentorship of two accomplished portrait studios, Kibbee acquired a small studio named Artisan Portrait & Design in Post Falls that was struggling to survive. Immediately Kibbee rebranded the business eliminating the design side and focusing solely on portraits. The rebrand included a new logo, a new website, and a refined focus for the company. Putting into practice what he had learned, the studio generated revenues in the first seven months that exceeded the previous year and a half. Revenues continued to grow steadily for two years when something exciting happened to catapult the studio into the top-performing portrait studios in the nation.
Artisan Portrait has found a niche in working with those that cherish their family and the gift of being a parent, encouraging and guiding their children, and fostering the love and meaning of the family group. In a time when we are sometimes more connected to the outside world or our devices, Kibbee works to create a portrait experience that reminds us what’s truly meaningful in our lives; the relationships and love within our family.
